Cagrilintide is a synthetic long-acting analog of amylin, the 37-amino-acid peptide hormone produced by pancreatic β-cells. Its development report describes a stable, lipidated analog selected after structure-activity work that addressed amylin’s strong tendency to form amyloid fibrils. Preclinical research on the cagrilintide peptide has examined amylin receptors, which pair the calcitonin receptor with RAMP1, 2 or 3, along with hindbrain neuronal activation and food intake in RAMP knockout mice. Research Market supplies cagrilintide with purity and identity data for each lot reported on its certificate of analysis. It is sold strictly for laboratory research use.
